Adding more

I have, I hope, added Chapter 14 to FTC.
I intend to add a chapter each day until completed. Then I will turn my attention to the whole site and attempt to make it easier to understand for me and new readers. It seems an awful messy business right now. My experience has been that projects only make sense when used and that is what I intend to do.

Book page

I have filed another book page. Has it ended up where it was supposed to be?

Wechange community

I believe I have posted Chapter 11,The partitioning of Power, and everything is complete up to the end of that chapter. Somehow the logic behind the blog is not obvious to me. It is not usually clear to me where I am from how I read the blog. For example I cannot go directly to Forming Tribalized Communities and see what is completed - or if it is there I cannot understand what the text is telling me. For example I re-wrote the end of Chapter 9 and then found it was already posted. I did not know it was completed the first time I looked.
When I talk about strategy what I am saying is that sections need to be clearer so that visitors know what is available and can go there directly. Perhaps it is me, but in blog entries I am not sure if I am in a thread or not, - is it a blog entry on a topic by Augustin, or by me, or by someone else?

I'm crazy about a singer.

Recently, I'm crazy about a singer.
He is good at singing. His name is Van.
I cry when I listen to Van's songs.

I like one of the song. The tittle is "Love Story". It is a beautiful love story. A boy waited for a girl .
But he knew that the girl didn't want him. He still waited and waited. It rained then. He thought that the star were laughing at him.

Industrial Society Destroys Mind and Environment

Industrial Society Destroys Mind and Environment

Dear Group Members,

I want to share my article with you. This is about the link between Mind and Social / Environmental-Issues. The fast-paced, consumerist lifestyle of Industrial Society is causing exponential rise in psychological problems besides destroying the environment. All issues are interlinked. Our Minds cannot be peaceful when attention-spans are down to nanoseconds, microseconds and milliseconds. Our Minds cannot be peaceful if we destroy Nature.

Thank you,
Sushil Yadav

Forceful advertising on Eggs / Animal cruelty: the right to know.

BuyBlue.org just mentioned a new egg-vertising scheme, whereby egg shells will be used as a medium for delivering yet more advertising to the consumers:

On Monday, [CBS,] the U.S. broadcast network was to announce plans for placing laser imprints of its trademark eye insignia, as well as logos for some of its shows, on eggs - 35 million of them in September and October.

Help everyone go on a diet

There are too many people who become fat.
A lot of people always eat too much meat and hate to eat vegetables. There is too much protein and fat in our body. And it's not good for our health.

I think everyone will get more and more slender when they want to improve their diet.

The important is how they eat. When we eat too much junk food and we seldom exercise, we'll get fatter and fatter. Maybe we can see the nutrition facts on the packaging when we want to eat some food. If there are too many calories and the food is not good for our health, we must seldom eat this.

Working towards positive change

This is the first time i've been on this website, so I'm not entirely sure how everything works. But I'm just going for it.

Lao Tsu of China said in 700 BC "Go to the people, live with them, learn from them, love them. Start with what they know, build with what they have. With the best leaders, when the work is done, the task is accomplished, the people will say: 'we have done this ourselves'"

It's words of inspiration, said so many years ago, but really addressing a key issue of humanity - one that needs to be actively understand by anyone working with others. Even locally, with the communities we are involved in we need to "start with what they know, build with what they have" in order to allow individuals the ability to form and shape their own opinion of the world by educating them and making them more aware. The world does not need a bunch of poeple who think the exact same way, we need people who look inside themselves with their awareness and realize what they can offer the world whether that be internationally or locally. It's the idea of "thinking globally, acting locally" - an idea that we should all take to heart.

The American political circus

Lately the Neo-Cons have started a crusade against the New York Times, claiming that they revealed state secrets by publishing an article that talked about the government tracking monetary movement to control potential terrorists.

Journalist Keith Olbermann but together a brilliant piece, showing that for years Bush himself has been making public statements to the same effect. What hypocrisy!

Share the Truth: the difference that one ordinary person can make.

Share the Truth! That's what Eric Pan, an ordinary US citizen, set out to do.

Do you want to go to the movies for free? Eric and many generous visitors of his web site offer you a ticket to see An Inconvenient Truth.

Following Eric's and many other people's example, it is by changing little things and caring for each others that we will dramatically change our planet and the global civilization that inhabits it for the better.
